SPEA Fold

Where does it start and where does it end? Is it one closed loop? Is it folded out of one piece of paper? The SPEA Fold is magically folded in the shape of an infinity loop - asking questions and awakening curiosity.

It is made out of dark green elephant hide paper, which I found in an archive from the 1980ies. The paper weight is unknown. The vector pattern is engraved by a cutting plotter onto the paper, then creased an folded by hand. This enables a very precise crease pattern and geometric accuracy. The folded piece has a framed size of 74 x 104,5 cm and is 5 cm deep.
