Woven Plissée

From yarn to folds - from one dimension into three. This project shows a metamorphosis of a linear thread turning into a two dimensional woven fabric and further into a three dimensional folded piece. Part of this process is slow and change is nearly invisible, like the weaving, and other parts contain moments of surprise and wonder, like the peeling out of the plisse mold shown in the video in the right.
