Holographic Paper.
Material: Holographic Paper, DIN A4, which I found in a shop for accessories. Sadly the paper does not say a brand, paper weight or any other details. My guess would be around 180 g/m2 paper covered with a shiny foil on one side.
Tools: Cutting plotter, embossment tool, metal clips
Process: The process I used for folding the holographic paper is a very classical one. I used the cutting plotter with the embossment tool to engrave the fold lines into the paper. It is important to emboss the lines at the back side of the paper, so that the holographic foil is not being damaged. Then I folds the mountain and valley folds by hand and compress the paper together. Metal clips help my with fixing it into its final fold.
This crease pattern is named „4-lobed cloverleaf“ and was designed by David Huffman, a real master of curved folds.
